Fleurieu Subsurface is a proudly South Australian owned and operated Service Locating organisation, serving both metropolitan and all regional areas throughout South Australia. Boasting a team of highly skilled, CertLoc certified locators with years of experience, we are proficient in handling jobs of any scale. Our team adhere to rigorous systems and procedures designed to deliver optimal results for clients, effectively minimising risks associated with excavation near underground assets.

Fleurieu Subsurface uses Electromagnetic Induction, Ground Penetrating Radar and Rodder/Sonde method to accurately trace all types of utilities.
This is the first point of call for our team of utility locators. This being the best method to trace all utilities that are conductive eg: steel pipes, electrical cables, all communications containing copper cables. Our locators also complete end of shift passive sweeps with EMI to ensure there aren’t any unknown conductive services not shown on plans.
Used to identify all services that are
nonconductive eg: poly gas, poly water,
all stormwater and also underground storage tanks or UST’s. Not only used to locate nonconductive utilities but the GPR is used to complete a final grid pattern scan across site. This ensures there aren’t any unknown services hidden below the ground, which are not shown on plans and weren’t previously identified with EMI.

GIS (Geographic Information System) mapping involves capturing, storing, and presenting spatial or geographical data. Accurately locating and digitally mapping the precise location of all underground utilities. Delivery of this data is supplied in PDF format from bird’s-eye view.

We are proud to be accredited by both Telstra and Optus as trusted locators. These accreditations are essential endorsements that signify our capability and authorisation to work on the telecommunications infrastructure managed by Telstra and Optus, respectively.
We are certified by CertLoc, (Certified Locating Organisation & Certified Locators) demonstrating our proficiency and adherence to industry best practices in utility locating. Our team are all certified locators who are skilled in using the latest techniques.
